Aurora College will be offering a new Recreation Leaders Program in September 2007 at the Thebacha Campus, in Fort Smith. This nationally accredited two year Diploma includes four academic semesters and three block periods of work Practicum’s where students can work in their home community or a recreation agency of their choice. One of the courses offered in this program is Computer Applications in Recreation. The program coordinator required a real-world example of recreation management software for the students to learn prior to their praticums.
Pacific Tier Solutions is pleased to assist the College and it's students with their Book King suite. Student’s will be able to use Book King to setup sample recreation centers and learn how to schedule facilities, create courses, take enrollments, manage budgets and many other common daily tasks encountered at a recreation center.
