The Town of Cornwall is located in Queens County immediately to the west of Prince Edward Island's capital and largest city, Charlottetown. The terrain tends to be gently rolling and the landscape is highlighted by dramatic water views over the North River to the east and the West River to the south and west. The Town of Cornwall offers many community services and recreation programs geared to all ages.

The Town of Cornwall was using a pen and paper system to handle facility bookings and activity registration. This system required a lot of administrative effort and lacked the collaboration features and reporting capabilities they required. Like most organizations, the budget for this project was a concern.
